During an interview broadcast this Sunday, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton stated that President Donald Trump is a “very effective reality TV star.”
What started out as a first official TV interview for Clinton where she was scheduled to promote her upcoming book about the election titled “What Happened,” she didn’t miss out on the opportunity to explain her controversial use of the word “deplorables” to refer to President Trump’s supporters, saying:
“Well, I thought Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner. I thought a lot of his appeals to voters were deplorable. I thought his behavior as we saw on the ‘Access Hollywood’ tape was deplorable,” said Clinton, adding that there were a large number of people that didn’t care, making Trump a very effective “reality TV star.”
Hillary’s book which happens to be scheduled to be released in just a few days on September 12, refers to the whole election process of 2016 as one big “reality show.”
“We have a reality show that leads to the election of a president. He ends up in the Oval Office. He says, ‘Boy, it’s so much harder than I thought it would be. This is really tough. I had no idea.’ Well, yeah, because it’s not a show,” Clinton said, adding that the whole thing was actually real.
From what can be taken from these remarks, Hillary has a hard time coping with the fact she lost the election, and is just looking for someone to put the blame on.
